Hello and welcome! My name is Brian Hall. I am first and foremost a husband and father. My wife’s name is Anca and we have two children, a 10 year old daughter and an 9 year old son.

I’m a network engineer by trade, and I love building networks, creating firewall policies, configuring routing, and I really enjoy problem solving. I’ve been working in the IT field since the late 90s and still enjoy learning new things every day.

As much as I enjoy being a network engineer, my main passion in life, outside of my family, is music, and especially playing guitar. I’ve been playing since the mid 1980s and love learning and playing music today as much as I ever have. I currently play lead guitar regularly with the worship band where we attend church, and I also lead worship services about once a month. In addition, I enjoy recording music and writing the occasional original song.

One of the other activities that I really enjoy is tabletop gaming. I can often be found playing Dungeons & Dragons, Space Hulk, Forbidden Island, or countless other tabletop games in my spare time. My kids enjoy gaming, and it’s a great way for us to spend time together. Anca joins in once in awhile, but mostly enjoys having time to herself after a busy day when the kids and I play.

All of the things I do are possible because of the life God has given me. I’ve been a Christian since I was 11 years old. I grew up as a preacher’s kid, and now it has been my joy to pass my knowledge and love for God along to my children. I’m very thankful to God for the Christian wife and family he has provided. I try to live in a way that allows my relationship with God to encompass everything else about my life.
